"May magei ammaya" is a book by Gamini Moragoda, the founder of Minsara Bookshops and publishers, it's sole purpose is to use literature for the benefit and the development of the society in a positive manner.

The writer through his personal experiences and real events of society colors this book to achieve his positive objectives of this publication.

The theme of this book is the sharing of love. How to practically use love for the betterment of society.

ගාමිණි මොරගොඩ නම් මින්සර පොත්හල් සහ ප්‍රකාශන ආයතනයේ නිර්මාතෘ විසින් රචිත "මේ මගේ අම්මාය" යන කෘතියහි මුලික අරමුණ සාහිත්‍යය හරහා සමාජ සුභසාධනය හා අභිවෘද්ධිය ලඟා කරගැනීමයි.

ඔහුගේ ජීවන අත්දැකීම් මෙන්ම සමාජයේ සත්‍යය සිදුවීම් ඇසුරෙන් නිර්මිත මෙම පොත හරහා කතුවරයා ලඟා කරගැනීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වූ හොඳ අරමුණු වලට ලඟා වීමට හැකිවී ඇති බව පැවසිය හැක.

කතාවේ තේමාව ආදරය බෙදාහදාගැනීම පිළිබඳවයි. ආදරය ප්‍රායෝගිකව භාවිත කිරීම පිළිබඳවයි.

Gamayi Wanarodayi : Premachandra Magammana - Village, jungle and children

Premachandra Magammana is not a famous personality in Sinhalese literature.

Though that is the case he has published several books to enrich Sinhala literature.

It is evident that this book is inspired by Martin Wickramasinghe's famous novel Madol Doova (1947). But not having a linear storyline is a weakness of this novel by the author.

Though it doesn't take readers to new dimensions of a new experience it is a very enjoyable read.

ප්‍රේමචන්ද්‍ර මාගම්මන යනු සිංහල සාහිත්‍යයේ ප්‍රකට චරිතයක් නොවේ.

මාර්ටින් වික්‍රමසිංහගේ සුප්‍රකට ළමා කෙටි නවකතාවක් වන "මඩොල් දුව" (1947) හි නිරූපිත ළමා දඟකාර බව සහ මානව නිදහස උත්කර්ශයට නංවන නවකතාවක් වන මෙම කෘතිය ගම, වනය හා ළමයින් අතර ඇති සබැඳියාව නිරුපණය කරයි. 

නමුත් තරමක් දුරට කතාවේ ආකෘතියේ සහ අන්තර්ගතය තුළ ඒකීය කථා තේමාවක් නොමැති වීම මෙම කතාවේ දුර්වලතාවකි.

දුලබ කියවීමක් වන මෙම ග්‍රන්ථය සාහිත්‍යමය වශයෙන් නව මානයකට පාඨකයා  යොමු නොකලත් විනෝදයෙන් කියවිය හැකි කෘතියකි.
