I posted on my Blogspot website in 2016 that the previous publication of this book is a very great and valuable book in Sinhala.

The main reason for that Blogspot post is that the author of the book was my father, and also I liked how he structured the flow of information in the book with good intentions. The author being my father was a major bias that needs to be highlighted in this post as well.
The Parama Weera Vibhushanaya (PWV) award was only given to only 29 soldiers when this book was first published in 2016.
After the publication, 3 more soldiers were given the award.

The newly updated publication contains historic battles and wars of Sri Lanka with the modern political history of the country. The personal political ideology of my father is included in the book revealing some of his partialities to his ideology but this new set of information is a new paradigm to the readers.
Through this book, the author has managed to cover a niche area of the three-decades-long Sri Lankan civil war literature.
